I like shooting my Ensign Ful-Vue box cameras a lot, but I also have a few other film cameras that I like experimenting with. Box cameras are great for training the photographer. You have to work within their capabilities and really stop and think before pressing the shutter release. I also have a Canon Sure Shot AF-7 (the camera I used as a child), which is pretty idiot proof; a couple of Lomography toy cameras; an Ensign Ranger II that I love, despite its slightly dicky lens; a cracking Olympus OM-2n, which I can't fault; a very nice (though much maligned - unfairly in my opinion) Halina Paulette Electric; and a couple of other box models. I'm not a collector, they all get used. They all have a niche that they fill. After waiting over a year for my local Jessops to fix their film developing gear I've decided to give up and give developing a go myself. I'll hopefully be sharing the results here soon.
