Chasing the next picture is my constant quest. I am drawn to the unplanned and the candid in photographs. The way a camera can visually record a scene that I have experienced like a mirror of reality is fascinating to me. As a tool the camera can take space and time and freeze it into something monumental and immortal if used properly. I am in awe of this potential even though I find it very difficult to achieve.

I use a variety of cameras both digital and analog. I feel that shooting film is a more careful and deliberate act due to the cost and trouble each shot entails.

I do a lot of street photography. I travel as much as possible and enjoy the variety of settings and situations traveling presents me with.

For digital work I use a Leica M10-d with a 35mm lens mostly. For film I have been fortunate to inherit a Rolleiflex 2.8e and a Leica M3 with some lenses from my uncle a few years ago.
