Hi, My name's Christian, an amateur photographer residing in Essex (originally from the East End of London)

I enjoy most aspects and genres of photography. I started out with a canon e0s700d, but now use a variety of cameras (6D, OMD EM5 MKII, GR II, X GRIII, X100F & Ricoh WG Series)

I've rediscovered my love of film photography, having developed black and white 35mm film in secondary school. Have recently purchased a few point and shoot cameras, current favourites are the Olympus MJU II/Epic Stylus, Olympus XA Rangefinder Compact, Rollei 35 S & Olympus 35 Trip. Looking forward to having my films developed and may even try some home developing at some point in the future (Film is not dead!) Also recently purchased some old plastic point and shoot cameras (Minolta Big Finder, Halina, Hanimex etc.) I enjoy using instamatic cameras, and currently use a Fuji Instax SQ20.

I previously undertook courses in beginners/intermediate studio portraiture, as well as an environmental portraiture classes.

I'm interested in video, and hope to attend a DSLR Video training course in the near future.

I enjoy taking photos with shallow depth of field, long exposures and architecture. I also enjoy watching tutorials on the internet or as a refresher if there is something I've forgotten!

I've experimented a little with long exposures using ND filters.

I enjoy searching through the Flickr website, as the range of images and subjects are so diverse, the images never fail to amaze, surprise or inspire me, there is so much fantastic work out there, which pushes me to improve my skill set.
