I live in Australia and I'm in my late forties. I only just started photography in August 2018 when my father gave me a 14 year old Pentax *ist DS that he had never really used. I decided to give it a try and now I'm hooked.

I thank the Flickr community for helping me learn more about photography. I posted some of my first shots here and the positive comments and support I received has helped me maintain my enthusiasm as I try to learn more.

The information shown on Flickr such as aperture, lens selection, focal length and ISO settings has been very helpful for a novice. I've now upgraded my camera and am looking forward to producing better shots as I keep learning. Thanks again for your positive support.
