Hi there! I'm a husband and a father living in southern USA. I've recently discovered photography and am looking to learn the art and craft. I have never had a good camera until recently when I purchased a Panasonic DMC-FZ1000 upon the recommendation of my local camera shop. I am learning to use it for the bulk of my photos. However, the iPhone is always there and I've been told "the best camera is the one that's with you." So, there will be some shots taken with the iPhone.

I look forward to the input of experienced photographers. Whether or not I ever have the desire or the capability to turn pro, I always want to do my best at whatever I do. Thanks to Flickr for an environment where photography and feedback can be shared from all over the world!
