Hello, my name is Morgan Genser.

I have been a photographer in one form or another for the past 15 years. I previously worked at a small weekly newspaper in Santa Monica, California, The Santa Monica Mirror. While I love photojournalism, the reality is that newsprint is fading, so I am exploring other areas of photography where I can make a sustainable living. My time at the newspaper taught me to think quickly and make split-second decisions—skills that now enhance my portrait work.
