My name is Ziad Kaki, and I am a native of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

After studying in Boston, I came to realize that pursuing a career in finance was not my passion. I learned this the hard way, spending hours in various classes and internships, finding my mind wandering to the art world. These experiences helped me realize my true motivation, what I pursue today. The majors of art, design, and entrepreneurship have helped me approach the art industry with a creative and effective strategy.

You may notice many curved lines in my work. These curves, they signify my thoughts about straight lines. As much as we think each day will go according to plan, we will constantly be hit by curves, small or large. These unexpected events require us to move around the straight line, to reach our end goal of happiness. This is the challenge of life. I find the beauty in imperfections and am bored by a straight line.

Passion cannot be pursued tomorrow, next week, or next year. Passion is pursued now. Each painting you see is a small piece of my story. Within my paintings, I hope you can find a story of your own.
