Owen and Kendall (Small World Big Bus) are a Canadian-American family who spend as much time as possible on the road. To further their adventures they converted a 1980 Bluebird Mining Bus from the last Canadian-operated Uranium mine in Uranium City, SK. The bus, nicknamed “Peppermint”, was a three-year long conversion and restoration project which taught the pair about sustainable design, architecture and engineering. Currently based out of Washington, the pair hopes to spend their free time exploring the west coast of Canada and the US and embracing the off-grid lifestyle.
