now that that's out of the way, let me apologize for the large amount of duplicates to scroll past, that you may find on these pages. i could have done a better job of organizing it all.
but, as far as the content, anyone who has a problem with any of it is, my guess, likely a repulican (or closet republican--loo out for those) who is looking for something by which to be offended. if you think showing a woman's back-side is "obscene," go argue about it with one of the curators at your local museum, where i'm sure you'll find many photos and paintings of people which show a lot more than that, including faces, which i do not.
if you find the word "fuq" offensive, then i suggest you read some of your hero fuqtrump's tweets or public statements.
if you think the fact that i used photos from off the web that i altered and put in new contexts is "stealing," then i refer you to your SCOTUS' recent landmark ruling on the Fair Use Doctrine. suffice it to say, none of the works i've shown in juried exhibits at several galleries, have generated a solitary word of such criticism.
ifa newspaper photog who takes a photo of a row of houses or a crowd shot , does that photog have to then go to each individual homeowner or each individual in his crowd shot and get written permission to use these images? obviously not. however, there are some photos on the web that have been copyrighted, which of course i avoid using, as well as photos that the phtotographer clearly took from an "artistic" perspective, which i also try not to use. of course, the word "clearly" is subjective, and we can debate what is or isn't all night. the point is, i know that there DOES exist a line that shouldn't be crossed, and i try my best not to cross it. my guess is that, with most of my abstract images, it's all cut up and filtered so much, the original photographer, if it wasn't me, probably wouldn't even recognize his/her own photo in the mix. t
what else? well, if you're looking for graphic violence, or anything racist or bigotted, happy hunting: there's nothing therer, unless there's something (obviously) sarcastic i forgot about.
to the rest of you all, this is just the beginning: i've got about 20 flash drives jammed full of new stuff that i'll post one day, hopefully soon. again, sorry for the dupes, but the amount of time it would have taken to pick out only the best ones and make sure there were no copies i'd rather spend moving on to make some new stuff.
thanks for looking and listeningoxooxoxxooxxoxoox
