98th Training Division (IET)

The official Flickr page of the 98th Training Division (Initial Entry Training), which is an Army Reserve unit with the primary mission of training Soldiers in Basic Combat Training, Advanced Individual Training, NCO and officer professional development courses, Reserve Officer Training Corps instruction and One Station Unit Training in Engineer and Infantry specialties. The "Iroquois" Division is headquartered at Fort Benning, Ga. and has three brigades of Soldiers covering twelve states.
Since September 11th the 98th has been called on to support the War on Terrorism and Overseas Contingency Operations. They have also supported Operation Iraqi Freedom on the Foreign Army Training Assistance Command mission to train the new Iraqi Army and security forces. Continued operations have included Iroquois Soldiers deploying to Afghanistan, Kuwait, Jordan, Guantanamo Bay, the Horn of Africa, and stateside Regional Training Centers.
