Hello, and welcome to the Geebeege Truck Kingdom. Trash and the industry that takes care of it are an interesting place to explore. From MRFs, Transfer stations, and Landfills, any of those are such great places. And guess what? This is the channel of the King that's behind all that. Yup. You’re on a very important Flickr channel right here. Hi, this is the Geebeege Truck King, and he is here to teach you about the Evolution of the Geebeege Truck Kingdom, when he's not driving around in his trusty Chevy Express. If it's not Evolution of the Kingdom, the King will tell you his stories about the BS that goes down in his wonderful life.

Trash is made up of an intricate and diverse universe. From dirty water in the LA River, to the littered Citarum River in Indonesia, and even the planet Alderaan that was destroyed in Star Wars, it’s everywhere. Also included in it is the good old toxic waste that corporate companies in America dump in the same lot that your little child plays in on Sunday afternoons. And you people wonder why your kids always get headaches or shortness of breath after a day outside. No, it’s not the weather; it’s the good old waste industry.

Also included in my wonderful kingdom are the people that clean up your mess every day around the world. These are some amazing people who do such a fine job making sure the world around you is cleaned up just for you to mess it up again. Many people look down on those who work and love the trash industry, but hey, trash is always gonna be there. You may wanna conserve and recycle, but you still have to produce a dookie in the toilet or turn the snow yellow sometime. Yup, that's waste. Always gonna be there. And just like the Geebeege Truck King's YouTube channel, Flickr is a great place to take pictures of the trucks that collect all that waste. But don't take pictures of your friends defecating in some city trash can or film yourself taking a leak in the toilet. The King disapproves all that. Just the garbage trucks will make the King happy and you guys in the Kingdom happier.

Now, different from my YouTube channel, Flickr is such a different world. And he feels that there are as many, if not, even more problems here than YouTube:

These days people think that Flickr ripped off Instagram. Those people are dumb. Flickr is pretty much an Instagram for people with a good camera, and not just a smart phone. So why on Earth is the Geebeege Truck King seeing people using their smart phones and using those silly hashtags on Flickr?? The Geebeege Truck King always scrolls through a bunch of great photos from his kingdom, and then all of a sudden there's a sort of blurry picture of you "Insta-Flickr" users smoking a bong in your underwear while your girlfriend is making out with your dog in the background. And in the title is stuff like #needforweed, or #doggiesanddrugs, or #high, or #maryjane. First of all, drugs are trash. Period. Second, you need a new girlfriend. Third, you need a new dog. Fourth, maybe try Instagram?

Another major problem is that many people are so caught up with how many followers or favorites they get. Sometimes people comment the same old thing on every picture and it just disturbs the comments section. The Geebeege Truck King is talking to you, Julia Rylskova. You know you made the Geebeege Truck King delete his old profile cause you commented on ALL his photos. The King can't believe how many people think you're actually congratulating them, you phony. There was also this one guy who bugged the dookie out of the King who kept commenting fake congratulations. So the King went to check out his photostream, and it was just a bunch of pictures the guy took with an extremely slow shutter speed through a car window. You couldn't even see anything, it was like The King was on LSD and having a bad trip because the dealer gave him old pills. Drugs are trash by the way. But guess what? At least 100 people favorited all his photos, and a bunch of them were congratulating him. Crazy what people do with their time online.

Another thing that the King disapproves is that sometimes people like Julia take such crappy photos that they belong in the trash in my kingdom rather than up on Flickr. But since they comment on so many photos, they get so much worship. The King thinks the favorites and follows mean that much to some people, huh?

One thing that is super popular on Flickr is Explore. Let the King just say that Explore is complete BS. How does it even work? Sometimes the King is scrolling through the explored images and the King bets that he could take a better picture than the bottom half of the explored section. Like sometimes the pictures there are a picture of a book on the table, a turkey on a pan, and, worst of all, those Insta-Flickr users' pictures! Fortunately the top pictures are actually stuff that people put effort into sharing, and even sometimes a geebeege truck, but seriously, Explore is just a biased computing machine selecting any image on Flickr, while missing out on 95% of the Flickr population. So some of us can't succeed in sharing our side of the world with everyone else.

There are problems with adding to groups too. Now there are some people who love to post to hundreds of groups, just for what, a ton of favorites? But the real problem with these kinds of groups is that some airheads think it's a good idea to comment these "awards." Seriously, what's the whole point of these things? You have to scroll through an eternity of awards from different groups and dig out the very few real comments (and separate those from fake, attention hunting comments) to really see people's opinions on the picture. Sounds like a recycling MRF, doesn't it? The King approves MRF's and material separation, but NOT on here. The King doesn't need to put in extra effort or hire comment separators to read the real comments for him.

None of this is cool, and it ruins The King's online kingdom of the trash industry. Just like on YouTube, please help the King win the war against these people to make learning about the waste industry and the trucks that collect it an enjoyable place to be.

So put on your gloves, your hardhat, and get in your shopping cart (if you're homeless), and get ready to learn about the Geebeege Truck Kingdom and about the King.
