I don't think that I have a particular style . I just love taking pictures of what I see, with minimal post processing. I came late to photography so have only been doing it more seriously for around 5 years though have always been the main photographer in our family for holidays and special occasions. I took a few basic evening classes , bought an entry level Canon DLSR and off I went. I am a member of the Amersham Photographic Society and have recently reached the advanced level so I figure I must be doing something right. I love wildlife and travel and am a Londoner by birth, so these are the subjects of many of my photos. Since retiring in 2019 , I am trying to find more time for photography but as everyone says, you become so busy once you retire and I certainly am finding this to be true . In May 2019 I had my first trip solely for photography purposes to the Tatra mountains in Slovakia to photograph European Brown Bears in the wild. A magical experience. More trips were delayed by the COVID 19 pandemic and for several years I was mostly in the garden, local woods, fields and by the Thames near Marlow capturing more local wildlife. But with travel now opened up, holidays abroad are back and I finally had delayed trips last year to Costa Rica and Australia that had been postponed multiple times and more recently South America and South Africa.
