Retired, but taken up employment as a Grandad ! Hobby bird/wildlife photographer. Detests all cruelty to animals and politicians of all parties ! Amazes me how we pay taxes for bureaucrats to make our lives as miserable as possible. The world is unrecognisable to me at the moment !

I have a long involvement with photography, including partly as a living, with formal training and use of Mamiya RB67 as a main camera. Photographs not of this genre I hasten to add !

After retirement I have owned variously Nikon, Canon and Sony gear, always searching for the ultimate portability but have now settled on Olympus OM1, 300mm f4 pro and 40 to 150 F2.8 pro + teleconverters, which means I can walk and take photographs without ending up crippled lugging around a 500 F4.

I enjoy taking my photographs and do not join in with the competitive nature of others !
