We'll just describe ourselves as far as this album goes- and that is that it is a good thing we're history buffs. We bought our home ( and land ) quite a few years. Almost immediately, noticed these peculiar ' rocks ' while out in the woods and spending time by the creek ( and in it ). The dogs love it here so we're familiar with every tree!

For a long time we thought we might be dealing with extremely ancient life- not being professionals, as in fossils! Yes, funny, , but with no one to help, we remained baffled until some very, very clear effigies turned up, then Native American tools. There is a Paleo site, oldest in North America around 2 miles from here so we did not think it would be surprising. Still, we said nothing for years not really wanting to have ' company ' in the form of oh, Ebayers, etc. It became more and more clear an entire village must have been here; nothing else explained how many artifacts were on the surface.

We did what ' they ' instruct you to do- we informed officialdom. Well, officialdom has been baffling to say the least. These are not Native American artifacts ( we were told ). Our Native American contacts have it all wrong.... . Perhaps it was a Boy Scout Jamboree?

Well, seems so odd. Sure look like all the others. Certainly is a LOT here. Have no other explanation. No stone-cutting tools in the house, either. Have no plans to sell anything. We really just thought it would be a little exciting that a village from this era was here. Pretty baffled, you'd think the professionals would at least give the area a look.
