A keen amateur photographer, walker and cyclist based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.

My greatest strength is that I know my own weakness.

I like to combine photography with walking and biking. Some of my gallery are current images and some are old favourites fished out and reworked with a new look.

I use a Nikon D750 with a selection of Nikon and Sigma lenses although last year I did invest in a Panasonic mirrorless camera to see what all the fuss is about and although I do like the compactness of the Panasonic I wish I had waited for Nikon’s mirrorless offering which was imminent at that time. As of November 2023 I’ve also invested in a DJI Mini 3 Pro drone, this is a lightweight drone with a fairly reasonable camera. I’m still getting used to flying it but I have to say it’s a lot of fun and has brought a new aspect to my photography adventures.

I do like to acquire photography equipment but as time goes on I realise that more and better equipment will allow me to take better photographs it will not make me a better photographer!
