The story of Daimon Silverdragon:

The legends tell of the orphaned boy, lost and alone, who fled into the dark woods to escape brigands. Climbing into a cave for safety, he found himself trapped in the lair of a mighty dragon. Trembling before the enormous, fire-breathing serpent, the boy was overcome with fear and his hair turned pure white. But instead of toasting the tasty morsel, the dragon took pity on the child, and sheltered him, caring for him and teaching him many of the secret ways of dragons, for his protection. As the child grew to manhood, he slowly began to take on the aspect of dragons, and his kind guardian, in turn, enjoyed unusual good fortune. The dragon recognized the boy was a rare spirit, and so named him Daimôn; and because of his silver hair, affectionately called him the little silver dragon. When the boy was grown, he honored his guardian's gift by using his knowledge and power to shelter, protect and guide, spreading the blessing of dragons in the world of men.
