I spent most of my career as a graphic designer with photography as a side gig. When everybody and his dog got computers and called themselves designers, I moved into property caretaking, and painting, photography became my artistic outlet. Politics, failing economy and a devastating fire in the Napa Valley put an end to painting. The upside is, it's a lot easier to store bits and bites than it is to store 4' x 6' paintings.

I have lived in the Napa Valley for the last 40 years. Most of my photos reflect the Valley, its furry or feathered inhabitants, and day trips featuring the same.
