I am a writer, traveler, and most of all, photo nut from Colorado, USA. I have lived in Europe for short periods of time, and dream of one day traveling around the UK in a narrowboat. Current short-term plans involve Costa Rica, and no doubt more unforeseen destinations. I work from home as a teacher of English as a second language.

I love philosophical musings (read some on my site: www.jessicamyscofski.com), wandering in the woods, and finding patterns and details in the natural world. I firmly believe that photography is magical, with the ability to transform the viewer and his perceptions. I seek to use my photography to remind people of the inherent beauty and depth around us, and to pay attention to what moves their heart.
