Watersafe Swim School began in 1971 in the backyard pool of its owner, founder, and still teaching Ginny Ferguson where she developed the Smart Fish Method. Watersafe moved to Seal Beach in 1988 and currently has additional locations in Huntington Beach, Yorba Linda, Tustin, and Lakewood.

Teachers at the school are carefully chosen, extensively trained and certified through the nationally recognized Smart Fish Academy. We believe that love and understanding within a structured innovative environment will surely produce safe and happy swimmers. We believe that each child is an individual and therefore, strive to personalize the instructions to fit each student's special needs and abilities. Our school offers private, semi-private, swordfish and group swimming lessons.

We take pride in the fact our team has won several awards for innovative teaching.
