sin dalla primissima infanzia riuscivo a guardare le curiosità naturali con particolare interesse, cosa che con il trascorrere degli anni mi ha portato a diventare entomologo (purtroppo collezionista). Sono stato anche cacciatore subacqueo e cacciatore con i cani.

Poi ho scoperto che potevo guardare Madre Natura "con altri occhi" , quelli della maturità: quindi il cambiamento ed il rifiuto di portare la morte. Da quasi 30 anni ho cessato di uccidere animali ed ho "appeso i fucili al chiodo".

Sono anche diventato vegetariano.

I miei genitori erano insegnanti di lettere che dalla Sicilia si sono trasferiti in Umbria dove sono nato e vissuto per 25 anni.

Dal 1975 vivo a Firenze. Le terre che mi hanno plasmato e che adoro per le loro diversità culturali e ambientali sono la Sicilia dove ho trascorso 20 estati di tre mesi l'una, Umbria e Toscana. Fotografo dal 1973, cioè da quando avevo una Asahi Pentax Spotmatic 500.

La mia età? sono nato nel 1950. Spero che le mie immagini possano essere di vostro gradimento per aiutarvi a guardare "con altri occhi" il mondo di Madre Natura.

°°°°°° from my earliest childhood I was able to look at natural curiosities with particular interest, which over the years has led me to become an entomologist (unfortunately a collector). I was also an underwater hunter and hunter with dogs.

Then I discovered that I could look at Mother Nature "with other eyes", those of maturity: hence the change and the refusal to bring death. For almost 30 years I have stopped killing animals and I have "hung up my guns". I also became a vegetarian.

My parents were Sicilian literature teachers who moved to Umbria where I was born and lived for 25 years.

I have lived in Florence since 1975. The lands that shaped me and that I adore for their cultural and environmental diversity are Sicily, Umbria and Tuscany. I have been a photographer since 1973, that is, since I had an Asahi Pentax Spotmatic 500.
