Women on the Block is a group of enthusiasts promoting diversity in the tech and blockchain industries. On May 13, 2018, the Women on the Block Diversity Conference took place at the start of Blockchain Week NYC and featured women thought leaders in a day of learning and thought leadership around blockchain technology. The concept of having all women speakers was designed to highlight and recognize the contributions and innovations of women across the blockchain industry globally. Our goal is to educate and empower women to become involved in the emerging and disruptive industry. Net proceeds from this event will be earmarked to support girls and women in technology.
