The Auburn University College of Forestry, Wildlife and Environment, or CFWE, is the back bone to Alabama’s $30 billion forest, wildlife, and natural resources industry, making it a flagship institution for natural resources-focused majors including natural resource management, geospatial and environmental informatics, and sustainable biomaterials and packaging.
With 9 affiliated research centers and nearly 60 faculty members and research professionals, the CFWE offers a world-renowned graduate program for students to engage in research that ranges from biological, ecological, and geospatial to socioeconomic and policy aspects of forestry, wildlife, and natural resources conservation, which is primarily focused to help society develop a sustainable future.
