I am now, a retired USCG Reservist. Been shooting Canon FD since 1978 and Canon Digital since 2009. In my stable of cameras are a Canon F1n, EOS 5D MKii, 7DMKii and a Fuji XT-3 that I am rapidly coming to love.

I enjoy shooting film with the F1n and frankly, can compose better images with it v/s the 5D. Had a Sony which was handy but I'm not too fond at the lack of a "real viewfinder." Still, it captures great images. Landscapes, streams, the Ocean are favorite subjects for color. Old barns, one of a kind lighting or textures cry out for Black and White Ilford or Tri-Ex.
