My name is Yadira, I’m a designer who has graduated from Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana (Medellín, Colombia), I have worked in various areas of design such as children’s clothing, uniforms, visual merchandising, theater and film productions and I have also designed catalogs and other printed graphic and audiovisual elements. I studied Graphic Design in Arsenal (Vilafranca del Penedès, Spain).

My illustrations are inspired by my various interests which include photography, travelling, languages, cooking, and learning about the diversity in cultures. So far I have lived in Medellin (Colombia), Vilafranca del Penedès (Spain) and Istanbul (Turkey).

Colour for me is wonderful and it’s a great tool to represent concepts graphically; same as light, every time I go to a new city around the world, the way the light illuminates and highlights the various colours within the city forms a sensation and experience completely different then the next for me.

My day to day interactions are injected into my work whether it be through connections, concepts, images, conversations, sensations, or memories.
