Thea (known as Sister Eliseea) and Rasputin (Marcel) write (paint) religious icons and churches for a very long time.
Thea learned everything from Marcel, as his apprentice in iconography.
Theirs icons already scattered across the world.
They believe that God inspires these icons, to His glory, for people to keep Him in their memory.
The Icons are brought into life with prayer and meditation, so becoming a print (mark), sustainable through many generations. A holy message.
Later on, Eliseea and Marcel displayed their art through private sessions, marking different occasions: birthdays, baptisms... and creating icons for such occasions.
The icons are painted on linden wood, prepared in advance using tissue and a special mixture, that they make, technique already known through the world.
The Byzantine style they cultivate is made in an ancient transparency, as if you were gazing through clear water, but there is much more than that.
Every portion of the icon bears paint, thousands of lines, points and effects compose the image.
In some icons slight low-relief are found, in the same form (manner), as the ones that are in ancient icons.
The entire expression of the icon, is that of a masterpiece, which may very well lay in a safe-deposit box, awaiting it's true value.
