Avidly keen amateur who enjoys photographing wildlife (preferably raptors), landscapes, air-displays and quirky things.....

Mu first 'serious' digital camera was a Nikon P610, which was near perfect for me, no bag full of lenses, no shutter-lag and a 60X zoom which was ideal for my needs. Sadly though it's manual settings left a lot to be desired, having lots of small steps rather than a smooth 'slide'

I've now bought a Nikon D5600 with a 70mm-300mm and a 16mm-85mm lens, it's truly a beautiful camera to use ;-)

My latest 'acquisition' is an 85mm macro (or 'Micro' as Nikon calls it) lens.....

Update - Just added a Nikkor 10mm-20mm zoom lens too. I'm now a happy member of the 'Beckenham Photographic Society', which has taught and encouraged me more than I can say :-)
