As an amateur photographer, I started out with a Nikon D70 DSLR in 2005 as my first interchangeable lens camera. My long-time partner, 10 years my senior, was the impetus for fuelling my photography passion...he is my critical eye.

On many a photography outing, I would tag along taking pictures with him. Vacations always revolved around photography...Times have changed but some things have remained the same. We haven’t lost the photography passion...I shoot with Nikon primarily for wildlife and Fujifilm for just about everything else.

I enjoy all sorts of photography especially nature and my photos reflect that. I have been fortunate to have grown up in Newfoundland and now live on Vancouver Island...so I have a special connection to the sea and woodlands.
