I have been obsessed with Trains since I was 10 years old, particularly diesel locos. My horizons have broadened recently since the privatisation of British Rail and subsequently standardisation of the Diesel fleet in Britain. I do attend a number of heritage diesel galas each year although my hobby is increasingly drawing me towards Europe and further afield. I also enjoy fishing and have been fortunate to fish in France, Belgium, Florida and Spain. My favourite species is currently the Barbel. I have been a professional railwayman for thirty years, now retired, and live in Bewdley with my partner Cat.
