I started taking photos when I was about 11 years old, but photography took a back seat until I reached the age of about 35. I became a full time professional photographer in 1985, and spent a lot of early working life taking photos of horses and horse related subjects. I became a freelance photo journalist in 1988, and spent sometime working for a local paper, at the same time I started a studio, and specialized in portraiture and still life. I was a qualified member of the British institute of professional photographers and a qualified member of the Master photographers association. I retired to France in 1993, where I continue to pursue my passion for photography.
