I wish I could walk into a room filled with every piece of art Kim has made since I've known her...it would be a huge room, and it would feel like i had just landed on a benevolent planet with all of the inhabitants looking at me, saying something in earnest with their eyes...there would be the leaders, and their minions, all a part of a huge society. Everywhere I walked their eyes would silently follow me... fortunately I have several pieces in my home, so I can enjoy their company in many rooms. Her sculptures are like no one else's, they make me happy. Her illustrations have a lovely breeziness about them, and are saying much often with spare use of line. I am constantly inspired by and commend this hard working utra-talented artist and am extremely thankful she went into art instead of bricklaying for her work.
