Take pics because it slows me down, makes me pay real attention. Done right, it gives me a one-pointedness that is meditative, transparent eyeball, etc. It enriches my life.

I am lousy at tech details. With ADHA and dyslexia, most of my life has meant going sideways at what I lack the skill to go at frontally. When i'm lucky, I get something worth keeping. Most of the time thou, it's a mundane stream, as with many, but not all, of these photos. Last perhaps relevant detail to my photos. I'm unusually well-educated in terms of Western culture. This shows in my delight in rich shadows, other details from oil paintings, etc.
