I have been a serious photographer for a few decades, and in 2019, my wife and I moved full-time to southern Arizona (Green Valley/Sahuarita area). Since my primary subject interest is birds, and SE Arizona is a famous birding area, the move has been great. We both went through the intensive docent training program at the wonderful Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum in Tucson, and as a result my wildlife subject interests have expanded from birds to include odonates (dragonflies and damselflies), butterflies, mammals and reptiles. My wildlife camera is a Sony alpha 1 with a 100-400 or 200-600 mm telephoto lens. I also do some street and general photography.. My favorite birding and bird photography spot is Canoa Ranch Historical Preserve, an eBird Pima County hotspot with 275 species of birds on its life list. I hope you enjoy my images!
