Havoq Luscivia got her first kick as a competitive gymnast and it was only natural for her to fall up into the world of circus. Dreaming of old timey showgirls and vaudevillians, a series of bizarre life choices pulled her into performing aerial on a sail boat in the South Pacific and participating in playground trick battles with French Polynesians through the language barrier. From there she fell into a beautiful strip club in New Zealand that offered her the opportunity to showcase her aerial acts in a more... intimate way. It was there, and then back in her hometown of Salt Lake City, Utah that she developed her personal style in using circus skills such as aerial, contortion, and acrobatics blended into burlesque and modern dance acts that simultaneously challenge and utilize the traditional techniques and styles of each art form she pulls from. She hopes to one day have an impact on the stigmas of her home state, and would love to make dance the mode in which she affects the injustices of the world.
