Always been fascinated by photography. It started with my fathers camera with single lens and bellow, and 120 6x6 film, like an Agfa Isolette. Soon to be replaced by several 35 mm camera's. And my first self owned camera an Olympus OM-2. Mostly experimenting with macro, wide angle and zoom lenses to mainly document life and travels. In my black and white dark room I spend many hours to develop my films and photos with a Durst Enlarger on Ilford paper.

Around 2004 the digital camera world opened to me with a Canon PowerShot A80 followed by several other PowerShot camera's, and when the lens on my PowerShot S100 broke I went a bit more professional for the Olympus OMD-10. Having experienced the the bug again soon to be replaced by a Canon 800D.

This camera opened up more creative possibilities then I ever imagined. Night photography inspired by Peter Benson, introducing bracketing, hyper focal focussing, and Anton Osinga teaching me composition and rule of thirds.

Now discovering the possibilities of Affinity Photo to enhance and correct digital photo's.
