Crewel is my creative outlet. I use to knit but I love the design aspect I get to incorporate into by crewel pieces.

What is crewel? Crewel comes from the type of wool thread used in embroidery. It is a two ply worsted wool. This is a traditional form of needlepoint, but it's making a comeback.
