I'm Peter from Sydney Australia.

Food is my number one obsession. So much so, that I started writing about it and now have a blog. It's called Souvlaki For The Soul. A tongue in cheek reference to my heritage. Check it out sometime.

All food pics you see are cooked, styled and photographed by me. I prefer to use natural light for my shots and for all you camera geeks out there I use a Nikon D700 as my camera of choice, with a variety of prime lenses (namely the 50, 85 and 90mm fom Tamron).

I've recently started dabbling with film. I'm currently using a Nikon EM 35mm camera and I'm waiting on a Yashica Mat 124G medium format camera. There's a whole new world to explore here and I'm keen to have a go at it!

Flickr is great and I have learned a fair bit about my camera, lenses and lighting. Everyone is very helpful and there's never any shortage of advice and information.

Another thing is I get to travel for a living. A lot. I'm often found in a foreign land and now its a little more interesting since I've had my new camera.

I'm grateful for all I have and I try to say thanks every day. If you need to use my pics please have the common courtesy to ask first. It's only good manners and also serves as good karma.

And by the way, if you have NO PHOTOS in your stream I will block you so don't waste my time!
