UK-based photographer, my principal interests are motorsport and landscapes. I started photographing seriously in the 1990s, using Minolta cameras. But Minolta were hopelessly late to the digital party so I switched to Canon. Advancing age has meant that I decided to lighten the load earlier this year, so I made another complete system change to Olympus OMD cameras. I have to say that my photography has benefitted (as well as my wallet), as the EM1 is such a well-specified camera-it has built in perspective and night modes, silent shutter release, and some great pro lenses. About the only thing I miss is the bokeh and blurred backgrounds of a fast full frame tele when it's wide open-you don't quite get the same subject/background separation with micro 4/3, but it's not a show-stopper. How about a 150mm/F1.2 prime tele? Olympus? Panasonic?

I lived for 20 years on the wonderful Isle of Man, and some of the images in these pages are scans from Fuji transparencies.

Thanks for taking an interest, I hope you enjoy looking.
