It's all about nature, is there really anything that can compare?....... scenery, birds, animals, butterflies, macros. Flowers.... I absolutely love flowers and photographing them. I also am very interested in photographic effects and how that processing alters the original composition. Editing is fun and often enhances the original photo. Every now and then, something will catch my eye, and I'll post photos of things that are a little different than nature oriented items just for the fun of it....You will never find a black and white photo in my stream. To me, black and white lacks life.

I have always used a Nikon, over 40 years now, I've had a number of SLR and DSLR cameras along the way, all Nikons. Tried a couple of Point and Shoot cameras (Nikon P600 and Nikon P900 and P950), but really didn't get the quality of shots I was looking for. I occasionally use my tripod or monopod, but mostly all of my photos are hand held. As of April 2019, I've sold both my P900 and D5300, and 55-300 lens. Now, I am enjoying a Nikon D7500 and love it! I currently use my 3 remaining lenses, (I just sold my Sigma 150-600 Contemporary in January 2024 . It's a great lens but wasn't using it much). I still love my Sigma 18-250 lens and my Nikon 40mm macro and my latest purchase a Nikon 200-500 lens. I've sold my Sigma 100-400 contemporary lens, in Jan. 2022. It was a great lens, just wasn't really using it much. In September 2022, I sold the P950, and vow to never buy another point and shoot camera! lol

So far, I'm extremely happy with this Nikon D7500. Starting in 2019, almost all my images are now shot in RAW.

***** February 2023 I've bought a new camera and couldn't be happier with it. It's a Sony RX10 IV (can't believe I've bought something other than a Nikon). Worth the price so far, and I will be using it more now, as it's a fraction of the weight to carry, and the photos have great clarity. It's great for landscapes and just regular everyday shooting, but I wouldn't recommend it for birds in flight. Still shooting RAW, and I hope you enjoy my photo stream:)
