My main love is photographing trains, particularly in mountainous regions. This love goes back to the early 1960s when, as a young boy, I received a Kodak Instamatic Camera as a birthday present - the search for that master elusive shot goes on!

In recent years I have developed a growing interest for wildlife photography but opportunities to develop this are limited at the moment. I also enjoy aircraft and landscape photography.

Over the years I have used many cameras, my first 'proper' camera being the Zenith E but my favourite during the days of film was the revolutionary Olympus OM1. Then came the digital era with several DSLRs from both Nikon and Canon. My current equipment are the mirror-less Canon R5 and R7.
