Ross caught the photography bug when he borrowed a digital SLR camera from his daughter for his first retirement vacation to Costa Rica, in Feb 2015. The wanderlust instantly took a grip of Ross and his wife, and how better to remember the wanderings than with a camera or two each. Life is now consumed with planning, learning and practicing everything to do with travel and capturing ever more wonderful images. Everyday is a new adventure, with so much to learn. Wildlife was his first love, then macro and bugs. Landscape was the next flavor, but it didn’t take long for portraiture to peak his interest. Will there ever be an end? With a good start in Lightroom, Photoshop is next on the list, with creative composites in the future…life and photography holds an exciting new experience around every bend in the road.
