I have been interested in railways from an early age, blamed on my late grandmother who took me to see trains whilst still in my pram, and developed an interest in photography at an early age, acquiring my first SLR at the age of 13. Scarily this means that I have now been taking pictures for over 40 years, mostly of trains in the UK but latterly taking landscape pictures too.
