I got interested in photography by looking at my grandfather's field camera, filters and various films.

In late 70s I took a full course of study in photography school and bought my first fully manual medium format camera with 70mm lens attached. In a year I had my dark room at home and for a teenager I could only afford b&w process in a least expensive way; buying bulk film, mixing chemicals.. I tried and used all camera formats but the half frame was my favorite -getting double frames out of one film cartridge. In 80s I started using 35mm and in 2000s digital cameras.
