My name is Andre Jacobs but culturally I am named Joshua Tree Rivers. When taking photos I like very colorful photos that capture the natural moments of life. I try to take compositionally interesting photos with great light but if the photo is un lit I can use Adobe Photoshop to brighten or “fix” my photos. I like that a photo can capture any motion, expression, feeling, moment, and every feature of everyday life and when I shoot I make sure they are interesting.

Uninteresting photos to me are ones that are just boring or randomly put together. If the content matter doesn't catch my eye or none of the content matter does not fit well with it's surroundings. Photos that I love are ones that are very colorful and involve nature or ones that have strong subject matter that compositionally fits with it's surroundings.

When I shoot I use my Sony DSC-W380, a point and shoot camera, but before I had it I used my IPad Mini’s camera. During my photography class, I use a Nikon 3100.

In my future I plan on working with the Colorado State Forest Service so I can be as close to nature as possible which would allow me to have many opportunities to capture everyday life in the mountains and forests.

Do not use any of my photos without my permission!
