UPDATE: I have reached my 1000 image limit on this profile so hope all that view these images will feel free to download those that you find most interesting. I will continue to be part of this community as long as there is an interest in my collection. Thank you all for the kindness and support of my work here.
There was a time when women would never leave home without the proper foundation garments. Like so many, I am stuck on the styles from the years gone by. The new styles are not really anything you can fall in love with. The molded foam cup is boring at best. And now that a girdle is known as shape wear the makers have taken all the style and beauty away. So sad. So this gallery will be dedicated to the beauty of the older style garments. I hope you enjoy.
My collections of magazine ads, mail order catalogs, and other pieces about foundation garments spans over 70 years and this profile will serve as a repository for some of my favorites. As the years begin to stack up on a person we look for ways to leave something behind. Hopefully this site will continue on for many years and my collection will survive. I encourage you to download the images to see the entire full size scan. This venue restricts the size of the images for proper display but the images I upload are the full page size of the original ads.
I have been adding more images with multiple pages to save on the image count. The free membership is limited to 1000 pictures and my goal is to post as many ads as possible to get the collection out for others to enjoy. This is not a money making venture on my part, I simply want to share my passion for these wonderful marketing pieces.

Agree that “shape-wear” is so mundane. The Cortland Foundations for the Forgotten Woman is wonderful, my go to girdle and corselette. I enjoy Miss Mary body briefers. Thank you or your delicious walk thru girdle and brassiere history.
I hope you don't mind me following you as being an addicted Transvestite wearing women's underwear and such for over 70 years you may understand my obsession with brassieres stepins girdles zippered and boned corsets and all types of All in One corselettes and all that follows.....Belinda
