I am currently studying Art, Psychology and Computing at A-Level. I am hoping to go on to complete a degree in Graphic Design.

I like to try to find an idea in everything I see or hear. For example, I could be listening to some very fast, colourful jazz and from that get an idea to create a piece of art or design using vibrant colours and expressive marks.

Everything man made in the world must have had a designer. I find this very inspiring and it has led to me being very interested in the creation of things. I am always wanting to discover how things are made and what thought is put into them, whether it be art, music or something else.

I am inspired by a huge amount of things. In terms of design I am greatly inspired by the Memphis group and their colourful and bizarre style. I am also inspired by the Bauhaus and their huge impact on art in all forms. A more modern designer I am greatly influenced by is Tyler, the Creator. Originally a musician, he is now many other things including a fashion designer, a director and a graphic designer. His design is often absurd and colourful, often containing an element of humor. More traditional artists I am inspired by include Rene Magritte and other surrealists. Due to my interest in psychology I find the representation of the subconscious mind through painting very inspiring.
