We have moved back to TN after spending our adult life in Georgia. Angie had just turned 19 and I had not had my late December birthday that year; so I was also 19. So we literally did grow up together in middle Georgia. We spent 41 years there together.

Bought the house in late Jan 2013 and just moved the last of our things the first week of May. 35 years in the same house in GA did allow for a lot of things being added to our possessions. I am an old fat man who loves to hike to waterfalls and photograph them. Previously in Middle GA so no falls around our area (Closest was High Falls some 50 miles to our north). Closest waterfall to our home in TN is Benton Falls. My wife Angie, of 54 years, and I have seen over 75 waterfalls of GA, 44 waterfalls of Oregon, around 30 of NC, 10 at least of TN, less than ten in SC and two in AL. We have seen over 200 waterfalls total; but constantly looking for any others we can view.

We have had a Schnorkie, miniature Schnauzer/Yorkshire terrier, Sawyer, for just over 14 years and this little canine bundle of energy is just over 14 years old. He gives us many moments of joy as we watch his antics.

We have two adult sons and one grandchild. But we do have granddogs. We now have a granddaughter born in Jan 2016.

Update Mila Dylann graced us with her presence. A big 20 1/2 inches and 8 lbs 14.7 ounces

Angie retired just before her 56th birthday due to the closing of the base school and no other DoD school being within 50 miles of our location! I followed her into retirement about 30 months later. After about a year we decided to start looking for a place to live in our home state of Tennessee! We were familiar with Benton and it made a nice midway triangle from our sons in Atlanta and Angie's Dad in Middle Tennessee. Her dad is no longer with us but her brother and sister both live in middle TN. My sister lives a bit farther west and south in northwestern Alabama!
