I've been photographing from my youth. I bought my first camera (Polaroid) in 1985 and soon got my second 35mm compact camera. In 2001 I bought my first digital compact camera and quit shooting film completely in 2003. I bought my fist digital SLR in september 2015 (crop sensor) and a full frame DSLR in december 2015. In september 2016 I bought my first medium format film camera and returned to shooting film too.

As a photographer my main passion is to shoot portraits and headshots of people. I'm trying to pull out the best possible expressions and connect subject with the audience of my images. I also try to get the best out of my subject by mastering light. I'm constantly trying to improve my thinking and vision of how to use light. I'm interested in post production techniques when I shoot digital.
