Stay Safe and Keep Operational (SSKO) - 'delivering innovative technologies to improve operational communications'

SSKO is Treasury funded and is directly related to "safely maintaining existing agency front line communications whilst the enhanced GRN is being delivered". It is short term expenditure that supports the path to a common mission critical radio communications network and mitigates risk to agency operations. SSKO is a Major program of works within the NSW State Emergency Services. SSKO program of works include:

Cells on Wheels (CoW)

Mobile Incident Command Centre (MICC)

Vehicle as a Node (VaaN)

Hand Held Satcom (HHS)

Location Services (LS)

Operational Communications Strategy (OCS)

Critical Communications Enhancement Program (CCEP)
