I am a Biologist who started out using photography simply as a tool to capture all the amazing wildlife and landscapes out there. Then, over time I increasingly apreciated photography as an art in itself.

It amazes me how a photographer can direct the viewers eye by composition and colour. With a camera you can capture miniature worlds, high speed motions or completely transform reality by using long exposure or black and white images. So now, just like most of us here, I walk around - with our without a camara - seeing the world in potential macros, landscape and square formats, black and white and long exposures.
