I have been an exploration and mining geologist for the past 40-odd years, which has taken me to some great places around the world. Unfortunately my photo skills have not been great but I have now more time to experiment. I have been doing deep sky astro imaging for the past 7 years but have now hung up my deep sky gear to concentrate on nightscape photography. I have recently purchased a Pentax K-1 DSLR and am working through the learning process.
